McLean ParkNew Zealand Maori Coach Donny Stevenson and Assistant Coach Milton Haig have named the New Zealand Maori team for the IRB Pacific Nations Cup match against Japan at McLean Park in Napier on Saturday 28 June.

Jason Eaton has a slight calf strain and has been bracketed with Isaac Ross. Eaton will be monitored over the next two days and a decision about his availability will be made on match day.

Stevenson said: "We had a challenging win against Manu Samoa last week and we know we are in for another tough game because the Japanese team is well coached and they are a fit side that will battle for 80 minutes."

Saturday's match kicks off at 2.40pm and will be televised live on SKY Sport and the Rugby Channel with delayed coverage on Maori Television from 9.00pm.
