Hawke's Bay hooker Hikawera Elliot and Wellington halfback Piri Weepu will join the All Blacks squad as injury cover today while Auckland halfback Taniela Moa is likely to train with the team starting Tuesday.

The call-ups come after All Blacks hooker Andrew Hore suffered a hip pointer in Saturday night’s Philips Tri Nations Test, Andy Ellis bruised his ribs and Jimmy Cowan sprained an MCL and broke his nose.

None of the three have yet been ruled out of this weekend’s Philips Tri Nations match at Eden Park and will be further assessed by All Blacks medical staff this week.

Meanwhile, flanker Daniel Braid remains with the squad as cover for Richie McCaw and Kevin O’Neill returns to camp as Ali Williams manages an on-going ankle injury.

Massive boost to the mighty Hawke's Bay Hooker.

We wish him all the best and hope like crazy he gets to pull on the black jersey.

Congrat's Hika, well done and all the best. All the hard work does pay off.
